LYZERBOND WPA is a mono- component aqueous base polyacrylic
co-polymer elastomeric compound, produced by a unique emulsion
polymerization technique. Used as water proofing compound for
water tanks, water towers, roofs, terraces, trenches etc.

Mix one measure of LYZERBOND WPA with one measure of water and
three measures of cement (Mix A). This mixture gives cement
paste of traditional consistency. If weighing facilities are
available, the mixture of one part of LYZERBOND WPA, one part of
water and four parts of cement (w/w) gives approximately same
consistency as above. Water may be added further if paste of
different consistency is desirable. Requisite quantity of sand
may be added to the mixture if required.
Water proofing for building terraces
If coats of resins e.g. dammer or asphalt are applied previously
for water proofing purpose, then these should be carefully
removed as these coats do not allow bonding between old cement
structure and new cement paste and good results are not
Add water to above mentioned mixture (mix. A above) of cement
paste with LYZERBOND WPA to get a free flowing watery
consistency. Fill the cracks existing in the structure after pre
cleaning and pre wetting. The mixture should percolate inside
the cracks. Before this mixture gets dried apply the mixture of
cement and LYZERBOND WPA prepared as stated above (i.e. Mix A)
to make a top coat. Allow this to cure for 24 hours. Apply
second coat and cure in similar manner.
For under ground tanks use the mixture of cement paste with
LYZERBOND WPA as stated above with requisite quantity of sand.
Build the tank as usual and give three to four coats of mixture
of cement and LYZERBOND WPA of above proportion but with watery
consistency. In this manner old tanks can be repaired. Curing
for at least 24 hours after each coat is essential. Mixture can
be applied by brush or any other means. If water seepage is
expected from out side to inside then outer surface should be
treated with cement and LYZERBOND WPA.

conditions. However it is always advisable to have moderate
conditions with the container being recapped tightly after use.
